Theres also Gens Ace as well if you're looking for options. Even Turnigy nano-techs are cheap too.

Smc is by far the best over gens ace and nanotech. Just spend the extra money for a good quality Lipo and you'll actually get customer support from them also if you have a problem.

Wild, 30C is a bit light.
I use Turnigy and really enjoy it, but I use a 6.6Ah 60C. More that twice the (advertized) power output. It'll make a difference on the punch you feel.

As others have stated SMC lipos are great. Great performing lipos at a fair price.

Actually, as far as budget goes, I like gens ace second, they cost a bit more than smc so that what I buy.

I would definitely recommend the Vant Lipos from www.thebarnfloor.com. I have a couple of their 4000mah, 75c shorty's and will be ordering the new 90c's as soon as they are in stock.

I've had a few Gens Ace. They have all been great. I honestly see no reason to pay more for a different battery.

SMC are pretty good, so are Turnigy. Gens Ace are OK IMO, but I haven't had many of their packs.

I'd go with SMC over Turnigy, and the only reason is because SMC has better quality plastics, the turnigy pack cases are fragile.

These are great too, 30c may seem not punchy enough, but they feel more than 30c IMO. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-ROAR-Approved

+1, these and SMC are all I use. I have one nanotech shorty pack and really like it, but availability of Turnigy packs is rough in the US, you can get them, but dont expect them within the week. I get SMC and Vant's within 3 days normally.
