Angry old redirection Tamiya frog

I am curious if anyone else has had issues with the front steering components of this model and if somebody has any ideas on how to upgrade them. Axle keeps pulling out of the steering arm. I would love to hand down my first car to my nephew but I want it not to break the first time runs it.

The Tamiya section of www.rc10talk.com would be the best place to ask.

This is a known weak spot. I had to source replacement OEM axles for my Brat.

I've seen folks having to drill through the hub and replace with a separate (3rd party) axle. Needs work.

If you love your nephew buy him a proper car
