Default All aluminum e-maxx vs thunder tiger mt4 g3

Hey guys I've been offered a 100% aluminum e-maxx roller for 200$, and the total cost will be less than 700$, or I could get a mt4 g3 for around 530$
I will mostly be bashing but speeds is also a key factor
The e-maxx will be equipped with a mamba monster 2
I want the most durable and fast car
Also any other suggestions such as a good buggy I this price range

I would recommend against the aluminium emaxx. For bashing, you will definitely break things, and when aluminum parts are involved the breakage is always going to be more expensive. They are great for show but horrible in real life. You need something that is plastic so it flex rather than break something else more expensive, chassis, etc.

The MT4 gets great reviews and the emaxx now is just old design, many things to get now that are better than that (erevo, savage flux to name a couple)

all aluminum = shelf queen.

As a basher it will fail, and what would have snapped an arm would now will just mangle a pile of expensive parts. You need impact parts will flex or even break to save the more expensive parts from the stress. I would never run aluminum on arms or bumpers... some of the rest can be a take it of leave it.... but you need something to soak up the crash.

aluminum only makes the next weakest part break. or bends trying to flex.

It's also heavy. Keep in mind how inertia works....

8bls going 10mph can and will break stuff on a bad hit, but that same 8lbs going 20mph is 4x the force of impact. If you could get it to 30mph you don't even wanna know

heavy + fast + no flex = expensive bend/break.

I would argue about it being heavy...i saw a build thread somewhere where somebody did a full emaxx build and compared it to an all plasic emaxx. The weight was so close that the difference is negligible.
