I got my kit in but I have not had time to do the conversion yet, but I will have it ready to run at the January Jam race in Flowood MS. Has anyone been running theirs?

Conversion is going together nicely. Should get it all wired up tonight or tomorrow. Looking forward to an upcoming race in a couple weeks to get this thing on the track!

I was a nano second from getting the TD E Truggy kit. But the chassis is has scared me away. So the Tekno kit or a conversion?
Is anyone concerned about a conversion being not as good as a kit made for an E Truggy.
And the big question, when is Serpent releasing their E Truggy kit.

Thanks

russell

Finished the conversion. Can't wait to run it at the track in a couple weeks. Anybody know if there will be aluminum chassis braces coming out soon? I had them on the Nitro Truck because I know that front one broke alot for some people.

I ended up taking 2nd at the January Jam in Flowood MS this past weekend. The truck is amazing. I qualified 2nd. In the triple Amains, got 2nd, 1st, 2nd. I had the lead in the 3rd one and gave it up on a small wreck, and didnt have time to catch the guy before the time was up. Triple Amains were 10min each. I had no issue with run times, and motor/esc never got all that warm. SMC 7200 batteries were amazing. Truck turned on a dime, jumped perfect, acceleration was quick. I did run 3.5 rear tow, and added some anti squat. Black CSI Pistons, 40wt Losi oil all around, stock springs. Diffs, 12, 15, 8. This truck is best handling I have ever driven. It was better than my buggy at the race.

There will be at least three Serpent drivers running the e-truggy at Motorama. Stop by and check them out!
