Default Difference between Team Associate B1 vs B4

Looking at picking up a Team Associate buggy, is there a difference between a B.1 and a B4 buggy?

Lol, I'm sorry but I had to laugh a bit at this question. Its like asking what's the difference between a 2000 Ford f150 & a 2014 f150. Simply they are all the same but different.

Best bet is to look for a B4, newest version, most parts will interchange with the newest buggy B4.2 so if you want to upgrade you can. I picked up a B4.1 roller last weekend for $60 bucks. The only real difference is the shocks and slipper.

Nah that's more like asking about a B3 vs a B4.2. His question was more like "what's the difference between a 1986 Ford F150 and a 2013 Ford F150?"

Okay I get it now. All of the cars I've been looking at are 4s. It's just when some guys list them they leave the 4 out, and just list them as .1, .2 etc.

Thanks for the informative responses, and glad to provide some humor for the rest.

the .2 has big bore shocks as standard if you get the ft kit. it also has 12mm hexes all the way around. (more important on the st since now if you use the same tires all around they can now be swapped front to rear, as well as let to right) it uses different arms and I think the chassis is slightly different. The geometry is different for the shocks too. And a bunch of smaller things too.
the .1 is in no way a bad car though.

Picked up a couple RTR B4.1 cars with brushless setup this weekend. Hopefully they will be good cars for my son and I to start off with. They are going to be used for racing around on a grass track in our back yard.

What are some of the upgrades you guys recommended for the B4.1 cars (don't say a B4.2 car) and what tires are best for grass?

Thanks

They wont work on grass. they are too low. You will bog down the car and Might burn out the motor and or speed control.

Default Running on grass

The grass I plan on running on is putting green short. If it's too much drag on the motor I can drop the pinion a couple teeth, correct?
