Default Lancia TT02 rally car build

After thinking about it for a bit, I've decided to build a Tamiya TT02 rally car. It has the Lancia Stratos body and the knobby tires. Anyway, it's my first electric car in about 10 years and my first serious electric car in about 15. I want to get good performance out of this on a compact 1/10th scale, Slash racing kind of track. What sort of running gear/ battery combos would be optimal? Can the drive train in these cars stand up to real power?

what do you mean by real power? like a novak ballistic 540? or something like a castle 1406? i dont think it comes with full ball bearings either so get some to complete the set. for a battery a 5000mah lipo 20-50 c is generally enough for good runtimes withh plenty of power and a low cost.

if you actually plan to do serious driving with the car "offroad" i would look into getting an xv-01, it will provide better performance, and will hold up to extreme mod motors.
