Well AE fired the guy who made the SC10 4x4, so thats probably not an option. They also have the Prolite truck, which is a better platform but not their flagship model for the class. I doubt Mugen will release theirs being theres still extra parts they need to make.

Hideeho
Rumor I heard on Mugen poduction order is the x7t then x7te then x7sc. That probably means some time next year. Take this with a grain of salt though, no insider info, just "friend of a friend over heard..." kind of thing, but the rumor I heard about time frame on the x7e was dead on.

Just a visual perspective, I've never owned, drove, wrenched or held a sc10 4x4 but just looking at it, I don't see why anybody would want it over a tekno or tlr 4x4sc, they look weak and non durable, correct me if in wrong, I'm just going off visual

Like the quiet drive train the Ae enjoys..

IMO and from talking to the super fast guys at the local tracks, the ae is a sweet ride and handles very well on loose large tracks, but the losi is a heck of alot better in high bite smaller tracks, the ae rolls over to easy even with sway bars and the susp turned way in!!

it's not like we're talking about 1:1 cars and trucks and can depend on a new model each november, so it boils down to what a guy told me a long time ago, "(poop) or get off the pot, but pining for something new ain't gonna make it happen. either buy what is available or just wait like everyone else."
if anybody knew anything they would have already been buzzing about anyway.

Other way around dude. The AE is good on tight technical tracks but sucks on loose, big tracks. Losi is good on loose stuff

Well I am no 4x4 guy, that's just what the fastest dudes at the race were saying, I asked why they didn't use the ae 4x4 (cause they run 2wd ae sc) and that's what they told me!!

my advice is to stay away from "that's what bubba said" advice.
sticking with personal experience is always safer.

I heard something is in the works from people in the know Will be based off the new 1/8th scale they are going to come out with. So I'm going to guess it will be shaft driven.
