Because it's impossible to have different shades of gray. I nicked a grape once at a grocery store. Guess that means I can go rob a bank....

BETA tires did receive a ton of flak when they launched with copycats...

How do all of you know whatever was stolen? Not how you presume, but how do you know? I would like to see the proof of all of the accusations being thrown around here at Intech? I am more than sure you can provide proof there has been theft because of how hard some of you are trying to attack the characters of others? Wait, you tried attacking the character of others hoping it would hold ground. Please, let me see the proof you have in court documents that theft has occurred and Intech should be punished.

....toy cars....LOUD NOISES!!!!

Seriously who gives if they 'may' have closely cloned a design...various r/c companies have been doing it for years on not just kits, but engines, wheels, exhausts, motors/engines etc. There's only a certain number of ways to "reinvent the wheel"...

It looks to be an OK piece of kit for what it is (if the price is right)

You guys seriously need to get off your computers and go for a walk to check out the outside world

Who cares if it looks like a Durango!! As long as it performs better. Let it speak for its self on the track

i don't see how a clone can do better than it's original copy?

i mean, at least if you "knock off" someone else's design (like dex210 copying the aluminum chassis mid motor swappable thing) you have a chance of doing better if you try something different.

this car? you already know it's going to drive like a poorly set up durango. because let's face it, there' no way a cheap knockoff can perform better than the real thing. might at well throw your money away.

My point is you said it will drive like crap, period. You didn't say it would drive like crap unless Gene was driving it. Look, you aren't going to win a contest of the brains with me.

I am quite curious how someone is able to separate this buggy and the Durango, vs something like plagiarism. Are you really fine with your children or yourselves copying others' work for school/college? How on earth do you justify the difference?

I never copied anyone's school work. I did just fine on my own. As I have stated, do we know the business practices that have transpired here? As I am sitting in Ohio I do not know the business practices of any of those that are being dealt with here. For some crazy reason Gene, Intech, and Durango don't give me that information. Do you have it? If so please post away the information that will as they say, set us free.

Gene has already stated that there is several differences between the 2 including the gear box. That alone is enough for it NOT to be a clone/copy.

Looks like the towers, battery hold down, wheel hex's, shock standoff's,steering plate are all different just from glancing at pictures.
