Hi guys, we are getting really close and you won't be disappointed! I truly believe all our vehicles are great but this has to be the most impressive and fun vehicle I have ever driven.

Expensive

Man this is going to be one expensive Christmas, two et48's and two d413's. We've been real good Santa so please have all of my requests by Christmas day! My d8t v4 has been excellent but it's getting tired. Time to sell and move up!!!! Ok guys this thread is getting tired, how about what kind of electronics are you going to run. I'm going to use a either a Castle 1600kv truggy motor powered by a Castle MMM. I generally use Savox 1256 servos, they work pretty good but since this rig is so special I'll probably go with the 1283 , I think that's the correct number, real strong and plenty fast. Or I'll use my Tekin 2000kv truggy motor powered by a Tekin esc. Both work pretty good in my d8t, the Castle 1600kv setup is easier to drive and has tons of bottom end torque. Works great on a slick track. On a high bite track I'll go with my Tekin setup. What are your going to run?

UK.hardcore 10-27-2013 06:02 AM

Orion 2607 servo and likely gen2 2000kv tekin combo on 4S.
I will also try the mechanical brakes and install traktion drive to minimize stress on the drivetrain.
I hope the weight doesn't exceed 4, 250 kilo.

I got a tekin 1700 truggy motor here to pair with a Viper VTX8 if I get one.

I also have a Castle 1600 1520 motor too, but, since I want to use the VTX8, I'll probably sell it, but it is one heck of a motor, insane torque.

UK.hardcore 10-27-2013 01:53 PM

Are you running 5S then?

Cain,
Not sure that the 1520 will fit unless you either use a MMPro turned sideways or relocate the ESC to the rear of the chassis. It's a pretty long motor. I test fit the Castle 1518 1800kv in there and that's extremely tight but it does work.

I'll be running a 1900kv Tekin Truggy motor and RX8 gen 2.

XRated SCT 10-27-2013 05:03 PM

Going to run tekin gen 2 combo, rx8 g2/2250 g2 with radiopost black servo
