who made "ROAR" God?
somebody that knows the ins and outs of RC needs to start a new organization! I know the sport needs a governing body! I have raced as a kid from BMX, Motocross, and karts (sprint, enduro and dirt)! My dad also raced dirt track and drag racing. we traveled every weekend racing something! Yes that was a very cool layout in PA, but maintenance in between rounds is just another stupid rule! Just like some stuff gets easily approved through ROAR whereas some products DO NOT! 2s lipo in a 4wd SC truck in todays power hungry demanding trucks (which is always a huge class) could benefit from going back to the governing board and making or helping our electronics run more efficient for same performance that we have now! It is mostly our hard earned money buying this stuff! Yes it's exciting seeing technology pushed to the limit, there's always gonna be that in racing! Hopefully not stepping out of line or on anybody's toes! carry on! |
Honestly concerning the whole 2S lipo thing, i don't think ROAR thought that the class would go the way it did with 1/8 based conversions like the SCTE (yes, I called it that, when you have a sister vehicle that is described by the manufacturer as a 1/8 buggy, yup, its basically a conversion then), Tekno, and others. The vehicles in turn push the limits of the batteries, etc.
Personally, would have loved to see say a 3S limit, and an upper weight limit thrown into the mix. Could give manufacturers the chance to get some money for those 3S hardcase lipo packs they make. Wouldn't give the as crazy torque as the 4S setups can offer. And, we could then all benefit with cooler running gear. Just my 2 cents. Anyway, looking forward to the ET48. Truggy used to be huge out here, and it for some reason, I actually liked the looks of the vehicles lol. |

I just hope this thing gets in my hands fast enough to make a big race the second week of October. If not I may be forced to defect to a DEX408T.

Just patiently waiting

Will all the updates found on the new eb48.2 be utilized in the first production run of the et48?
Not all updates in the eb48.2 are transferable to the truggy, but I assume everything learned in the initial release of the eb48 will translate into a rock solid e-truggy. |
