I think it looks cool too. I just wish it was a lot thicker. I'll probably switch to the Durango or Agama body for durability reasons.

I put on 3 layers of fiberglass sheetrock tape and shoe goo to the front. Plus I'm going to make a cover for the top of the shock tower out of high density foam. Hopefully that will help the body live a bit longer. I'm sure somebody like Jconcepts will get on board and make a stronger body that fits the chassis.

It's funny how some hate it and some love it. I think is awesome, so sleak. The front to me looks like a big fist half closed.

the body looks like a skinny elephant seal. When it's on the vehicle, it make the truggy look like a quad copter with no propellers. The more I look at it, the less it offends me, but I doubt I'll ever like it. I can't wait to see what the aftermarket will offer. Other than style, it also seems it doesn't hold up very well, so there is a need for aftermarket for sure.

Pro-line....stay away! Love your quality, but you'll just make another bulldog. Enough with that, already. Come up with something new.

Would using the disk break setup on the truggy be a good choice or just use the rx8-g2 breaks instead. That a lot of weight to try an stop at the end of the straightaway..

If you're worried about stopping, all of the popular ESCs paired with good motors have more than enough stopping power. The reason for going with disk brakes is to adjust front/rear brake bias.

I have re-enforced my body with shoe goo and drywall tape and have not had any problems with cracking or breaking. Or mabe I am just a better driver than the rest of you..........hmmmm. LOL NOT.:batman::spidey:

I was just wondering.I could see where the extra might help with making run time maybe.

Same thing I was thinking.. a little less lid time pays huge dividends when talking about lifetime of a shell :) But yes well placed drywall mesh and shoegoo goes a long way!

elephant seal

Metoo, you're dead on. The nose does look like one of those giant seals. That's ok I prefer to think of it as a fist...Hehehehehe This truck is so popular in such a short time you know there will be some really awesome bodies made for it, just a little more time.

I'm not much of a 1/10 fan but being a Tekno nut I had to get a sct410. Stuff a Tekin HD 4300kv motor in it and it pulls nearly has hard as a 1/8 buggy. Do your self a favor and save your nickels and dimes and get both, they're both awesome imo!

I don't have the cash flow to have 3 TEKNO and a 6yr with a rtr.Hahaha wish I did. But the buggy is great and the truggy has to be as good!!!! I don't know if I want 4s or 6s lipos all the tekin setups run a 2000kv truggy motor with 4s.

The 2000kv truggy motors running 4s are powerful. I stayed with 4s mainly because I didn't want to buy more batteries. 6s packs aren't cheap. If you already have some 6s packs get a low kv motor,
long run times and from what I've heard the electronics run cooler too.

Snow's on it's way!

We're supposed to get snow soon, I'm ready! We don't get much snow here in Portland any more, kind of a big event when it does snow, me being a big kid. Good thing I'm retired so I can stay home and play. LOL
