Well said and to the point. Find what works for you and run with it.

Any pics how you run 2s lipos side by side?

BTW, the stock grey hinge pins do bend easily on this buggy.

thanks a lot for your answers.
@b_recliner: I fully agree with you. Anyway i don`t want to copy everything i see on the pro cars but i was curious of the reason why they change something drastically like that. I will have to buy at least another scale to see how the weight bias with my rather heavy 4S1P LiPos is (582gramms). As far as i can tell the additional little brass weight added to the front underneath the front diff pinion had a noticeable, positive impact so i guess the movement of the LiPo will have even more. If it turns out positively for me i don`t know.
Regarding the Hinge pins: I thought about getting spring steel in a high material grade, chrome them and put them in to see how long they last? To get those Mugen pins would be a much easier and cheaper way though. As i said lots of us have the same problem with binding suspensions on this car. Sometimes caused by something else but often by bended hinge pins.
Speaking of binded Suspension, i bought a ball miller for my dremel which is slightly smaller than the hole in the rod ends. Squeezing with pilers didn`t help very long. Now i don`t have axial movement but they turn very smoothly on the balls.
@Casper: Thanks for your answers too and specially the hint about the clutch. I never came to the idea that it basically works like a slipper. But it makes sense He probably can adjust the preload accoridng to the grip level. Once it exeeds a certain torque it slips.
Can you actually buy this clutch in the states or is it commonly used over there ?
Regards
Florian

Commonly used? No. Some people use them but direct drive via a pinion/spur is more common.

Thanks for the Information. I checked it on Amain. I don`t want to have the additional maintenance work to do.

Hello all, I have a question, I tried searching but cant find an answer, Can i run premounted AKA wheels or do I have to run the Losi stock wheels because of offset? I've been running stock wheels, but wanting to run some premounts. Anyone using premounts on 3.0 E? Please Advise, Thanks!!!
