What gearing should I try for my 1900 motor with the 43t spur.

If you search this thread for the words "pinion", "spur", "gearing", "1900kv" etc. you will see that there is a lot of info on this.

Or check out the TLR setup sheets. It contains info on motor kv, spur and pinion. Most TLR drivers use a 1900kv motor, so there should be good info for you in the sheets.

The 13 pinion should be good for most tracks. You could try 14 or 15 for really big tracks (we don't have any big tracks around here).

Our local pro runs a 15/45 everywhere. The 45 spur with the 15 provides better mesh and provides a similar gearing to the 13/43--the 13 with the 43 tends to chew the spur up (this happened to us far too many times ... and YES we know how to properly set mesh, before you ask).

Shoe goo or double side tape the switch to the inside of the side gaurd. Mount the "on" towards the front. I have the same issues with the straps. Im not sure if the scte 1.0 straps would be a better fit or not.

Use the 3M double sided tape (buy at Lowes etc.). It is killer, and a $5 roll will last a decade! Just MAKE SURE that you clean all surfaces with alcohol (and let it dry) before mounting or it will come loose.

Buy the Losi straps from the original 8E conversion kit. They are identical, except a few inches shorter. P/N is: LOSA4463

Perfect for smaller packs.

There's about 10% difference between those two; I wouldn't call them similar.

+1. I stole the straps from my 8e 2.0. They work fine with the lower profile 6s packs I run. The 3.0 left to right straps were way to long.
