So I just finished my TLR 8ight E 3.0 it's a thing of beauty. I'm starting to install electronics I picked up the Team Orion RX8 Pro and the Team Orion Vortex VST2 PRO size 690 4 pole.

Wondering if anyone else went with this set up. I need to order a sensor wire if anyone has a length that worked good for them let me know.

Also the motor mount bolts that come with the kit are too small. Not sure if I should machine out the aluminum motor adapter for the bigger Screws or search for another solution. Any one else run in to this.

The new Orion motor only has 4mm holes so you will need to modify the kit plate. Simply drill out the plate to clear a 4mm screw and then either countersink the plate and use 4mm countersunk bolts OR dremel down the outside of a 4mm cap head screw till it will fit into the original holes in the mount.

Collin used it for the first time yesterday and said that the car seemed to turn only slightly more than before but not to much a difference.

I'm at 3450, Min weight is 3200, so you're fine. I have a ways to go before we can get on our track so I can't tell you how she is working just yet.
