Two setups to try here.

The first is a little more aggressive the second has quite a bit more steering but still stable in the rear end.

Default TLR E Buggy

I did not think anything could be better than the 3.0 converted to Electric. We held the Clash at FRC starting on Thursday. My new 3.0 Kit arrived that day, but I did not get a chance to build it. However, JR Mitch and Tylor Weaver were running theirs. Tylor built his on the drive from Atlanta to Flowood. I have had mine a week now and it is an amazing electric buggy. I have been able to run the back to back and the new E Buggy is so much easier to drive than anything I have driven. We club raced yesterday and kid from New Orleans won the Ebuggy class with a 2.0 EBuggy, I let him drive mine after the race. He agreed, it is just so much easier to handle and the only change I made was the rear sway bar. I went to the heavier sway bar and it really helped in cornering on our track. This is a winner for sure and I really appreciate all the help from TLR guys, there is a lot of helpful information out there for anyone from TLR. If you want the best EBuggy out there, get one of these.

I only see setups for the scte 2.0 not the 8ight e 3.0. I must not be looking in the right place

Sorry I got mixed up on the wrong thread. I saw SCTE 2.0 and did not realize I was in the 8ight side.

try going to 0's all around for front kick up. this gives more steering and less rear traction. Start there and there are other things to change like 3K rear diff. Is it pushing into the corner or on power?

give the kick up change a try first and report back.

I already have the 0 inserts in the front. It pushes all the way through the turn. If I tap the brakes, I can get the rear to rotate but that kills my speed. I saw Adam Drake's set up, should I try that?

Try 3k in the rear, i ran 553 this past week and the it was pretty rear loose.

You can. Ryan and I have not tried Adam's setup yet but I know from past experience I tend to like Adam's setups.

3K rear end will give you some more steering. Take the wicker off the wing. Move the wing forward. 2.5 rear toe in. I would look at freeing up the rear end some if you are looking for more all around steering.

Stiffer rear spring could help as well.

Did you build your car with kit oil or with TLR oil? If kit oil, change that out to TLR oil and give it a try...it will be much better.

I had the same issues with push. I went from 5/7/3 to 5/7/5 to 5/5/3. I'm stayin with 5/7/3. Seems to be the most balanced for me. I did put a stiffer swaybar in the rear. Also using 30/30 for oils. Took out droop in the front and left full droop in the rear car is pretty hooked up now. You can check out my videos on youtube. Just look up jason r/c

Switching from Kit oil to TLR oil made a HUGE difference both front and rear, especially the front as it seemed to be more like a 60-80 up there.

Ryan and Casper, why is the kit oil junk? Should we trust the kit diff oil?

The kit diff oil is good. The shock oils cannot be our normal matched and spec'd oil that we place in the TLR bottles as that process happens here in CA.
