Until Tekin, that was the go to combo.

Yes I ran the activ8 4.5 combo most of last year. Currently testing out the Schuur speed motors, but still using activ8. Great ESC

Yes,Running the 4.5 now in my Tekno 410 with RX8 geared at 15. So far very good but I am eyeing the pro4 4600 as my next motor purchase.

I've only run the 4300 so far and I can say it is leaps and bounds ahead of the Tekin Pro4 in terms of smoothness of throttle feel and power delivery. Spools up real fast and still remains very drivable.

The Ballistic 4.5 is still a power monster. Hits hard, runs fast, takes ESC timing very well while still remaining smoother on the bottom than the Pro4.

IMO YMMV

I am going to test a schuur speed 4800 this weekend in my 2.0 we'll see how it matches up against the pro4 4600.
