Hi, just picked up a used B4.2 roller and trying to decide on ESC placement. If you have your ESC mounted in the back of the battery tray, can you post pics? Thanks in advance.

I run mine in the back of the battery tray. I will try to post pics tonight if I can get around to it. I have to pack up tonight for club racing this weekend anyway.

Thanks. I saw Maifield's setup already but wanted see what others have done as well. I'll look for your pics tonight if you can post them. Thanks.
Got a question for you guys on the b4.2. I am running a 10.5 turn motor, the car I bought has a JC Concepts 75 tooth spur gear, and it didn't have a pinion, so I bought a 30 tooth pinion just to have one to put on the car. I am going to be running this on a indoor offroad track, pretty tight track. Am I way off on the pinion gear, or pretty close. If I am way off, what would be a good starting spot on the pinion. Thanks

Hello!
I'm writing from Italy.
I just finished to assemble my new B4.2
I want to use a Hobbywing 13.5T and Xerun 60A v2.1 (with turbo mode)
The track is technical with a straight line of 20-25 meters.
What pinion can I use with 81 teeth spur gear?
Does anyone know a starting setup for the xerun's software with turbo timing?

I think I ran a 20 tooth when I had my 13.5. As for ESC setup, It all depends on the feel you like and what works for your track. My suggestion is run it how it is and go from there.

b4.2 steering problem
Hi there in the manual it says to put the servo horn 1 spline to the right why is that.
I thought you turn electrics on and centre the steering servo trims and install the horn in a straight up and down position.
Am i missing something.
Does this make sense to anyone????
thanks brett

turn on your car with the servo plugged in and set your trims to 0. then put the horn on 1 spline to the right and the steering should be centered or pretty close to it depending on your steering link. just a rule of thumb for the associated vehicles
