Exclamation vxl ESC wires got cut

So last night i went to get my slash going but my white wire from the esc to the receiver is cut (guessing my stupid kittens got a hold of it ) It is cut at the base of the ESC and it is not repairable without taken the esc apart. Does anyone know how i can do that? I don't care if it is waterproof or not i just want this to work until i can get a new esc.

first: try find an old servo with a lead which you can cut off to replace your lead.
Second: open up your esc case and locate where the lead is soldered onto the board
third: unsolder the old lead and re-solder on your new one
Forth: re-assemble your esc case and test.

Hope that helps
