I tried a swaybar a long time ago on high bite tracks. It worked for me. Since I started running the shorty packs, I don't run it anymore. The bar is going to limit the roll of the rear of the car.

So, it will loosen the rearend up, not as planted correct?

A sway bar reduces traction on that end of the car. Rear bar loosens the car, front tightens it. Instead of a spring change, which affects the car in turns and off jumps, the bar should only change cornering, unless the bar is big enough to override the chosen shock spring rate. When I raced my Revo years back, the rear bar was needed to make it turn. With those 25 pound springs on the cantilevers, it took a monster bar to make a noticeable change. I ended up with a 1/8 inch bar in the rear.

Got my kit T4 conversion in the mail today.

Can't wait to put it together. As I've asked and others, can someone recommend a baseline for T4 setup with AE bigbores?

I'm racing on a good traction clay track, West Coast Raceway to be exact.

Okay, as long as you are covered. I am a hobby distributor located in the Seattle area and will (hopefully) distribute X-Factory products in the near future in the Pacific Northwest. I just want to make sure the local X-Factory drivers are taken care of, at least to the extent I can at this point in time.

I appreciate it, thanks. If you do become a dealer/distributor, make sure those of us in the PNW know. I would gladly give my business to someone local for my parts stock if I could.

We just got back from Columbus a few minutes ago -- it's 12:30AM now. We'll be in the shop making buggy towers Monday afternoon.

That would be awesome!

In other news: Had a club race today, got 2nd in 2wd mod with my X6^2! The car was really good, though I'm still searching for the perfect oils in my shocks for our track (Nor-Cal Hobbies) because sometimes I bottom out landing the triple and the car spins. At the moment I'm running MIP Bypass1 pistons in AE V2's (32.5f , 30r AE), and since day one they have been awesome. Running them in rebound lets the car set up instantly which is really helpful when I don't land "just right." Anyways, the car was awesome and totally bullet proof! Thanks X-Factory!

Has anyone priced out the cost of a t4 conversion without basing it from a running truck?

I've got as big bores, triad slipper, new diff rebuild, aluminum steering cranks and hex conversion parts already. Maybe I shouldnt sacrifice the running t4 and just build a new truck? Is it worth it? I was going to try sc10b arms and towers too.

I too am waiting on the arms and sc10b tower (want to put on both the x60 and scx60). I just bought a used T4 and converted it but had t replace many parts in the process.... Just use the truck you have. either way, within 2 or 3 hours, you could go back to the t4 if you want

How much is the sc10b arms and tower suppose to help? And what is it doing for the truck? And do you need to have bigbores for this conversion? i have a x60, and might do this.

A lot of people that are doing this have the BB's but it wont matter all the much. From my understanding, people are doing it to lower the front height a little (drops the shocks down a bit more). It is suppose to make the truck flatter in courners as well as help with responsiveness. I'm waiting on my arms/tower on backorder, sadly
