Questions?? Competition

so i'm looking to buy my first RC car, and i'm not sure what to get. I've noticed that most people say you cant go wrong with Traxxas, but I'm wondering if there's anything else out there I should consider? I want something for off roading but that i can drive around my driveway as well, (from what i can tell something like the Traxxas E-revo) if anyone has any input that would be great!!

ps. I'd like something that can go at least 25 mph without a LiPo (i know most if not all traxxas cars can do that, I'm just not sure what else is out there.)

Well, unfortunately given what you said there are literally hundreds of different cars/trucks that might suit you. What's your budget?

i was hoping to find something for under 300. I know that at least for traxxas that means used.

I have a Traxxas 3.3 Revo. Great truck. You cant deny their support and parts availibility! I also own other brands....im not a brand loyalist...but i like to buy good stuff....and Traxxas is one of them. Jimmy

Well you could look at traxxas minis line, or of course a rustler/stampede platform which will be under $210

the old RC18 from associated with a NIMH and a brushed motor were 20MPH out of the box. but 18th scale. add a li-po and brushelss well onto 40mph.
