For those wondering what 4s looks like on an SC, here's a link to a youtube video of race. I'm the TQ, the Losi SCTE with stock body (black with yellow stripes). I was running a Neu 1509 1800kv motor, a Venom 50C 2500mah 4s pack, a MMP esc, and either a 7955 or 985 steering servo. As you can see, there is not a distinct difference in performance.

What run time, at race pace, do you get out of this program?

whats considered the "hot" SCT body these days? Came down one too many times on the lid yesterday and now I have no parachute effect LOL

The last time I ran that setup I could get 10-12 minutes with cutoff set to 3.6v per cell. My motor was maybe 130 degrees, at the hottest. You could place your hand on it after most runs and it only felt warm.

We'll try to verify the smallest gear you can use soon. I'm running a 15t with a 4600kv Pro4 motor right now. Plenty of rip, plenty of speed.

Any news on this? I may keep my SC10 4x4 for the daughters beater vehicle, (how the mighty have fallen lol) in which case, the 4600Kv would get full use on the SCT410. Running on extremely tight tracks, so looking at pinion sizes of about 12T, maybe less if possible.

We're racing tonight so I'll make sure we try out the smaller pinions.
Also I updated my attachment post about what parts are required to change the EB48 to a SCT410.

Just to also confirm, can you use long shank pinions on the 410 like we can on the eb48 by flipping the diff or is that not an option? trying to sort which vehicle gets whatever pinions lol.

thanks for the info, but need to confirm for the Tekno SCT410. Looking at the novak 9, 10, 11T pinion set.

I would assume you can. It should be the same as the buggy in that respect.

Absolutely. You can also run the Traktion Drive.

from what I understand it, and correct me if I am wrong, its acts sort of like a slipper in a way, correct?
