We have to get together again some time, was cool meeting you in person and you definitely are a great representative for Tekno.
You'll have to hit up Foley when the nitro series is there. Tracks a little bigger than the dome but blown out and dusty. It wouldn't be much farther than the dome. Some pretty big air. It pretty good time I'll probably end up camping there for the weekend.
I try to do my best at representing the company and the product. I really like helping out the few other tekno drivers at my local track.

Just bought a kit on Amain. Hopefully now I can run outdoors with confidence as my AE just was not getting it done.

Ha, me too! SCT isn't my favorite but I had been looking at this truck or a SCTE 2.0 as a basher platform. I had not decided... but Amain had the sale, so I added it to my cart to see what shipping would be to Canada. Still undecided. Then the website pops up a 10% off coupon that effectively wiped out the shipping costs.... sold!

I have an old ESC I can recycle for it now, but no motor. Time to go shopping...

The guy putting on the series said the same trophy guy made some 3-wheel drive plaques last year. Guy needs a lesson in RC'ing.

Thanks for the congrats. Anthony is a heck of a racing and an even better guy. He would surely make the class more interesting though.

Guys hard to search from my phone and need a couple pieces to finalize my build:

- good servo recommendation, RX8 ESC so not worried about BEC
- servo horn, also need one for my EB48

Time to go shopping!

I qualified 4th w/ the buggy and luckily peaked at the right time, I guess. I took the last 2 of 3 A-mains.

BTW... Someone needs to get the plaque guy a spell checker......
Congrats, Marc!

I was on a main and happened to notice that all tekno kits were 10% off and parts were 20% so I checked to see if they had the sct410 in stock.... And sure enough they did!!! I went to check out and shipping was like $20 for the cheapest one so I went back and it said to spend $25 more to get super saver so I figured I might as well... I picked up the tekno air diffusers and the aluminum wheel hexes along with some dubro clip retainers.

I'm so pumped about this truck!!!

I'm keeping my scte until I switch all my electronics over and then see how the tekno performs. Once I see if It performs better (I'm sure it will) I'll sell it and try to recoop some of the cash I spent on the tekno . Should I just start with the stock setup for an outdoor 1/8 ish track? Also what pinion for my pro4 4600? I have a 14t and a 15t ATM.

Thanks,
Dan

Stock setup on a 1/8 track was dialed for me. Only added red rear tekno springs and it was awesome. Went to 5K in the front diff, but to tell you the truth, i think i liked it better with all stock diff oils.

The hot bodies servo horn is probably the closest to stock but u can always check the first page of the thread.

I like HV servos so not sure if you're interested but the protek 130s has been incredible. 100s or 100t if you want to save $.

Dont you proof read and o.k the Plaques before the printing occurs? I designed lots of them and I always has several people look at them before submitting them to the track race director.
