Did you guys put locktite on that big nut that goes on the bottem of the steering assembly? With the pressure of that spring along with the O ring in there it was pretty difficult to screw in. I had to use a pliers and got it all scratched up. I thought I was cross threading it but I wasn't. Seemed odd it was so hard to screw on and take off.

Last time I checked, my PL8's can do IR. :D My Gens packs are usually around 3-5 milliohms depending on age (some are over a year old with lots of runtime), and stay fairly well balanced. Honestly, for what they cost, I don't care if they do or not. They run my Losi and now my Tekno, don't puff, don't get hot, and deliver their full rated capacity, if asked to. Can't ask for much more than that. :) The 5000 50C and lower Gens Ace packs are a different story, though. I will not run those in 4wd SC, the power demands are too high. I've puffed and desoldered the connections inside several Gens 40C and 50C 5000 packs, and the ones I have left are relegated to other stuff, like the Emaxx, 2wd SC, or my touring cars. :tire:
