IMO, 250oz of torque is plenty. red wouldn't be bad either, but my first pick would still be green.

You think the green one is enough for this truck, or would you go with the red servo?

I would go with the red its the same price and will be a lot stronger.

I'm considering saying screw it an just running my EB48 setup identically. Tekin RX8 and a T8 1900 on 4s. Most tracks around here don't care anyways. I don't really want to deal with 2s in 1/8 scale sized cars. ROAR is behind the times with this silly rule.

Danny, are the battery straps the same as the EB48? Just wondering if a 4s will fit in there.

The battery straps are shorter for the SCT410. They might still work, but I'd recommend the buggy straps (TKR40007K)

Just looked at radiopost site. Looks like good stuff. Like how they have modules for the m11. Wish I knew that a while ago. Could get rid of that bulky annoying antenna lol

Good to know. Maybe I will buy some of the sct410 straps for my EB48. I am running small batteries.

Can you give us the lengths or let us know how much shorter they are than the EB48 straps?

I have both servos. Have run each in my eb48. The green was fine in the buggy, had no problems at all. I got a great deal on a red, so I tossed it in to see the difference...can't notice one at all. Gunna run the green in my SCT410 and keep the red in the EB48. Great servos btw. Insanely quiet, no glitches. Remember, if you get the green and want more torque, run it at 7.4 volts and you've almost got a red, but faster :)

Does a body already drilled for an scte fit this truck, i know the wheels and tires do, just wondering if my scte's body will fit.

BashemSmashem 12-01-2012 10:28 AM

I believe Tekno did say a body drilled for the SCTE will drop onto the SCT410 .....

yay! My scte is all cleaned up and ready to sell. Too bad all the money will be going into the eb48 first.
Sorry but shortcourse comes second..........but i have a feeling it won't be too far behind.

Well i just ordered my sct410 from tower hobbies. 340.00 shipped since i am a club member i got free shipping, and i used coupon code 010D7 which knocks 60.00 off of a 300.00 order. not bad

also i wont be billed until the truck ships and the discount code wont be applied until i am billed.

on the downside they are stating late january. i hope its no longer and preferably like jan 20th at the latest.
