Me personally, I am still curious if SCBs are next.

1/5 would be cool though :)

Hell yeah brother. A 1/5 tekno would be a dream come true for all of us lmao.

Yeah 1/8 nitro is the most popular class and i think a conversion would be very simple ! I might even try it if i csn find a used eb48 at a fair price

Are you saying for Tekno to make a nitro conv for the eb48?

superslow 11-21-2012 06:26 PM

I think they should it would be very easy to do. And the eb48 would be able to be ran on the biggest stage in r/c! Prob get some nice run time with it being so light also!

I'm not a fan of nitro at all. I learned to master tuning, and still didn't care for nitro at all other than sound and having a gas powerplant. You do have a point though, nitro buggy is huge, and a lot of peeps would like to have a nitro eb48 no doubt. In the end I'll stick with electric.

I dont think a nitro conversion for the EB48 chassis would work that well as every inch of space on the chassis has been engineered for an electric layout .

They could design a new chassis plate and use the front/rear sections of the EB48 . But nitro 1/8 scale buggies have kinda hit their peak IMO as far as the designs , every combo of component placement has been done already and thats why they are so alike in their designs .

Nitro is not for.everyone, but I love it and I started with electric. Its very tough when first starting but once you get a handle on it, it is very fun. I think there is definitely a big nitro chassis market for many years to come

The race is on for both of us. On the bright side though, there's still those stubborn tlr guys that will never sell their "perfect" scte.

This truck looks interesting but lets see what well be the achilles heel on this one. On the Durango DESC it is the durability of the arms, on the Losi SCTE the diffs, on the Tekno SCT...

I got my SCTE dialed, yeah it took a season to get it just the way I like to drive it. So I drive my SCTE next season, but after that let's see how this newest rocket performs.

Good point. Most likely the problems with the eb48 will be the same as the sct410 since they share so many parts. (most problems have been fixed) Just tired of the losi's quality and want something a little nicer that requires little to no upgrades to be able to be raced at the highest levels.

Maybe at your local track. It's 2012 now and 8th scale nitro buggy is no longer the biggest class.

It's still the only class run at the Worlds.

Any preorder Black Friday specials for the Tekno SCT410?

True, good point. Worldwide's different.

Including a t-shirt with that cool goldish lightning Tekno logo and the pic of the sct would be nice ;)

Hope electric is not far away (as I hate nitro stink and noise), though it requires another race format that many will dislike.
