I had horrible luck with the wheels though. They stripped the plastics kept coming loose (used premount gridirons SS). Is the losi aluminum hexes a direct bolt on? Also the servo horn is junk stripped in one whack. Put the tlr in and its golden. Ran a 16 pinion and temps are fine but will need a fan in summer. Ran a 18T as well but ESC was going nuts HW scte pro with 4000 kv hobbywing. I might run the tekin 3300 with 3s and rx8 for more speed maybe. Overall I love this truck!! Thanks tekno!!
Do you mean the wheel nut is coming loose? It's serrated and you can crank on it so that really shouldn't loosen. A bolt-on aluminum option is TKR1654X. They are a +1mm option so your truck will be a little wider but still legal. Not sure about the Losi hexes, I'll try them tonight and see if they fit.
I'm currently running the Tekin 3300 Pro 4 with an EcoPower 3s 3400 pack, it's working really well. Using a 14 pinion everything runs cool.

The camber links are 5mm and the steering links are 4mm dia. Can't recall the lengths, maybe Danny will post them up.

Yep that hex was loosening itself, if I crank it down it was binding so I need the hexes. I use a impact driver to tighten them up.

You might be over tightening them if you are using a impact driver as the plastic of the wheel could be getting distorted.m2c

Losi SCTE hexes do not fit. Maybe if you drilled out the center to 6mm they would but unmodified the center hole is too small.

Teknorc, thanks for the reply. Your right the one outdrive cup on the center diff was a little tight. I removed the center diff and slid the dogbone in and I could feel it bind slightly. I am sure it is just a small burr and will free up after a pack or two, but I think I will hit it with a file to free it up. All the other cups are fine, so far I am very impressed with the kit. I can't wait to get it on the track.

Here is a shot with center diff removed. The dogbone would stand up in the drivecup because of the bind.

I hear ya. USPS has managed to lose my RX8 / Pro4 combo I ordered for mine. They show it was delivered Friday before last but I have seen no sign of it.

haha i was really refering to first chart. wonder wher the first one is from. tekno says there #450 is equal to losi 35 and #350 is equal to losi 27 1/2. if so the first graph is dead on

Forgot, which mod pinion should I get?

Also, are there any alum hex that will fit?

Are there any issues running the plastic hinge pin holders?
