Mod 1 gearing needs to be a little looser than you normally would do.

Default fioroni pistons

i tried this weekend the fioroni pistons and i wasn`t too excited about it!
i still pulled TQ an Win but i was fighting with the car.
usually so easy to drive but this time the car jumped funny and was loose in turn.
before i was using 8x1.3 pistons with 35Fand 30R yellow springs all around

after i switched to fioroni pistons i started with 32.5F 27.5 R with yellow springs
the car was slapy after i change it to 35F 30R was better but way of how was use to be.
i guess im going back to 8x1.3 pistons

I run the 1256 in 1/8 scale and the 1258 in 1/10 scale and both have been working great for me.

Thanks. I'm thinking of the RX8 with the Pro4 4600. What do you think?

What diff fluids is everyone running outside, got a halfway decent setup but just want to get some other ideas for this year. Track can vary from dry and dusty to wet and crazy traction.

Great choice

Tune it out. Harder rear spring or thicker rear shock oil. Try standing the rear shock up a bit.

I start with base setup of 7F 10C 5R

Wouldn't harder rear springs make the nose diving worse

You'd think but supposedly the Jose dive is from the rear end bottoming out on jumps. I went from a green spring to an orange and it was a night and day difference...

You know what i been figureing out with this truck with how to jump with it without nosediving it to much. One thing is try to hit the jumps at a slower speed when you appouch the jumps pretty much just go with the speed you need to clear them and the truck will jump pretty good. If you hit the jumps at more speed than needed oh it will nosedive !

I think thats dued to the battery being to forward or not enough droop in the Front or the Rear . Than you have the shock pistons you use or springs than factor in with the nosediving.

Im not so sure about using thicker shock oil in the Rear shocks if you racing on low traction at least it will take traction away. But it will make the truck jump better usually.

All i know is though that the Green springs all around are better for sure than the Black Front, Pink Rear springs. The truck does not feel lazy like before.

Use o-ring limiters if using new shock bottomd then 2. Check shock length and droop. Put front dogbones and rear arms level. More front droop might help.

It's not the springs we have been using anything from grey on in the rear if traction needs it.
