I sent my broken axles to Tekno. They set me up with a 50% off coupon code to replace them. Their customer service is second to none. Kudos to the Tekno RC, truly excellent!

I broke another axle too making the total count 10 broken in 11 weeks of owning the truck i even tried cutting off the extra axle that sticks out past the nut. Broke it anyway lol, now I am trying different axle nuts I've replaced All wheel bearings and that didn't help either maybe rebuild all cvd's? We need a better axle, is there one from another vehicle that will work?

Looks like they are defiantly having an issue. First one was an original but it was a massive hit that broke it. Second one was just an awkward angle landing...

Guess I must've got a lucky truck... Been running mine for over a year and I've never snapped an axle.... Knock on wood.

Finished my truck and it is sick, want to post pics but being lazy and don't feel like doing the whole photo bucket thing. Is anyone posting pics from an Android device? If so what Internet browser are u running?

Chuck Tee or FQ06 what are you doing for droop screws with the BCE chassis? I'm heading to the track tomorrow and hope they have the Associated RC8.2 droop screws which put the button head on the chassis so it doesn't wear as fast.

Still yet to break one stub axle lol . Did you guys try to shim the wheel hexes ? I just did my to get some of the play out . Maybe that could help .

I tried out the Pro-line Evo body today and I only had 2 sets of holes cut out in the back and man that thing parachuted so badly I couldnt believe it. I am trying out other bodies so I dont have to use one specific body but I couldnt go on with it so I switched back to the FTW for the rest of the race day but I am gonna throw the old air dams on and cut out some more air pockets and see if that helps. I have not seen much on this body here but do any of you guys have any info?

I used the same old droop screws, actually didnt tear up the chassis

Same here, nothing special. There is barely any wear from the past few months of driving.
If you want to flip the screw you will have an extra 1mm to fit the button head than with the stock chassis so it may work out to where you have enough droop.

I have one shim in place. How many shims or how much play should there be?

I have stock ones in front, which seem to last. In the rear I have new ones which seem to brake. Never had so many problems with axles before. Is there something to check in the hub?
