Heres what im going to get:

BCE, HW3656, KO Response, tekno carbon towers, servo horn, aluminum driveshaft, 12mm hexes, fiorini pistons w pink springs, lunsford turnbuckle and a FTW body.

I'll post an update once I get everything.
Since you saved so much $$$ today, throw in a set of green springs too. Some like it stiffer, but so far I feel the pinks are best with the fiorini's indoor. Outdoor green f&r may be the way to go.
Just $20 more and you should have all spring bases covered.

I am using Durango white/black up front that is 3.92 and the Tekno pink front is 3.83... close, just referencing teknos for ease. I may try a Tekno pink just to know that's a good suggestion and who knows, I may see an improvement.

Funny how Tekno's colors lined up at two different rates (green medium & pink soft) that to me are a very balanced combo. I see most people mixing colors. Wonder if Tekno saw the matching colors as a balanced set?

I bought my kit 2 weeks ago (or less) from towerhobbies... No update rear gearbox in them... I already purchased it though..

Where can I find setups? Anyone run at IERC raceway or airland indoor raceway?

The Petit data base is starting to get more setups posted, sweet!
There's even a few buggy and one truggy setup now.
I'm settled on my fiorini setup now and will replace my Tekno 1.3/1.4 piston setup sheet at Petit.

The pros setups are a good resource for sure. They go that fast by not only knowing how to drive well but also are very good at tuning. But sometimes the regular Joe's setup can work better for other regular Joe's. If nothing else, more options to test & tune with

i have the rattlers, ions and aka typos, ran them all back to back on med size indoor track with med to high bite clay and hands down the typos are the best almost too much traction, in fact I will say they are the best tire I have ever run, keep in mind that is for me and my track, results may vary LOL here is a link

Ive been having better runs with the Switches. Put on the Rattlers yesterday and was doing 17's easy, 16's with a little more effort. Put on the switches and was hitting high 15's driving not much harder.

+1 for typos, they are fantastic right out of the bag at my track if you don't have time to break in a set of barcodes

Has anyone tried the csi pistons. Is it a good piston or is Fioroni the way to go? It just seems that the csi are vehicle specific which kind of shows a little more in depth r&d.

hey guys
my cousin is pulling the trigger on a new sct410 kit, I have been reading good things on here about the hobbywing combos, I run tekin stuff so I cant advise him on HW and he cant afford tekin stuff, so a few questions

1) what is the best kv set up?

2) how do they compare to tekin pro4?

3) how long will it last if not over heated?

4) where is the best place to buy the combo?

4700, can always take power out.

Haven't ran a pro4 but I beat them down the straight all the time 540 can vs 545 can Need roar legal? Pro4.

Going on one year on mine. You won't over heat it. I run 10° to 15° ESC timing with 15 to 16 gear and temp 140° to 145° after 10+ minutes. No fan, no heatsink, nothing.

FalconSEKIDO or BuiltRc west coast... fiercercsolutions east coast.

Personal preference though... RX8 with 3656 motor.

The latest firmware update on the HW sctpro really woke up the motor. I'm using the 4000 motor and taming it back now. The 4K motor is better suited to indooor due to more torque and the 4700 pulls better on top end.

I haven't ran the 4000kv but I can say that I'm not lacking any torque. 4s buggies get me for the first foot or two off the bottom but then I am dead even. That may have more to do with weight to put the power down also and not so much to do with lack of power on my end. I always go with more watts no matter what I'm powering.

Either one is a win, they are a great motor at an unbeatable price.
