Haha, ok thought maybe it was to get the body to sit lower or because of the body you are running.

As a long-time Mears Gang fan...I approve of this paint job!^^^

If anybody has nose diving like I did you can add weight to the rear and balance the truck and make it fly strait. I did this with 5 dollar lead from Walmart .first find center of chassis then add the lead to the rear bumper till you balance secure it and your done .it also locked the rear end down and gave it more traction!;)

Don't put weight on bumpers. The weight makes the car somewhat unstable at those locations (kinda swing effect) it's better to put weight as low on the chassis as possible.

one thing that will work is to use a dead servo in the mech brake servo spot. adds weight right where its needed.

Based on my limited testing, it seemed to give me the weight split I was looking for.

Thanks. I was thinking maybe lighter springs, but wanted some input first.

Before trying the lighter spring, try moving your rear inner camber link to the lowest, and inner most hole on the rear tower. Then reset the camber to -2 deg in the rear. This should make a huge difference in the "planted" feel of the rear end of the truck compared to the stock settings. If this makes it too planted, move the inner link tothe middle hole on the rear tower's inner most holes.

I'm running the same springs your described (yellow front and red rear), and I have too much traction. I've been trying things to get the back end to break loose easier, and I run on a med/high bite indoor track.

Just don't want you to have to spend another $20 on springs if its not needed.

one setup guide I am liking that has helped me (and I have it printed to) is this one:

Here is a short video of my sct410. In order it was scte 2.0, sct410 and sct410. I was in the #3 spot with all silver paint. I was doing some testing with a few changes so my driving was not the smoothest.

I qualified 8th (quals were difficult with traffic, was on a good TQ run rd 2 until I got pummeled). Went from 8th to 3rd in first lap in main. My car is the white front with green flames and purple trim. With more experience I won't get nervous in mains, and will be able to drive cleaner lap after lap. I got more comfortable 4:30 min in. This was also a very long day, this main started about 2:30 am. I usually drive a lot better when my heart isn't pumping out of my chest. Don't judge me lol :sneaky:

You had a real good run  I qualed 3rd then tubed it right in front of you in the main, lol. I'm not the best driver at 3am when we finally got on the stand  Finished 5th. Hard to make up time when the top 6 or 7 of us are all within a tenth of a second for fast lap ;) Looking forward to the next round, hopefully I can get more than 4 minutes of practice in before that race, lol.

Is it me or people are "cutting" the track in the middle?

The middle dip is part of the track if that's what you are talking about. Right before the table top there is an opening. We call it a joker lane. Its a cheater lane that everyone can take one time in a race. It just makes the racing more interesting. We do this only on club nights and as you can see when I hit the pipe it can help or hurt you.

Yes its fun! You have to pick when you take it because it can help or hurt you. That night it was taking about 3sec off your lap. You can only take one time in a race.

Lap 1 and done. A 3 second lead on lap 1 can easily become 10 seconds while everybody. Is busy punching each other in the nuts on lap 1. Looks like its actually pretty easy to hit if you're commited to it before you get there.

egobrkr 11-14-2013 07:04 AM

I was not committed to it when I did it. It was a last minute plan as I noticed the other guy was going to take it too.
