Default RC8.2E steering issues

has anyone else noticed the rc8's steering balls and cups are very tight on the tie rods binding it up, I remember the last two that I built had the same issue. I don't want to put the servo in more stress than it already is in. I am gonna be using a ds1015 xp servo i know it can handle it i've used them before in these, but if I can improve the speed and put less stress on it it would be that much better.

has anyone tried anything to reduce the binding, I have polished the balls with a metal polish several times and have gotten a small improvement but its not where I believe it should be and I dont want to modify the cups, any input would be much appreciated

Yup my RC8TCE uses the same ball ends them seem to wear fast when dirt dust gets into it. You ethier can squeze them with a pair of pilers that will loosen them up or get the GHEA ball ends which are $$ but look pretty good .

Not worth cleaning them really .

Oh try to squeze the two ball ends with a pair of pliers. Are they new ?
I know they can be tight when new but they do loosen up after a run or two.
