Ok I raise my budget to 200$.
Now - does any one try the airtronics MX-v?
In the user manual it seems it has the same features as MX-3X. So why it is cheaper?
I wonder if all the features are function?
Especially the exponential throttle feathers.

That said, Airtronics has a better "feel" for me, and smaller receivers, so I went with them. If you can, save up a few more dollars, and spring for the MT-4. I'm sure you can find a coupon code that can save you a few bucks over at tower hobbies. It'll be well worth it in the long run.

Can any one help with what radio to buy bearing in mind that I cannot use a wheel radio...
So it has to be a stick radio in 2.4GH .....

throttle exponential
guys
correct me if i wrong:
why do we need throttle exponential feature on the Transmitter and the ESC
and releasing the car clutch?
aren't they all giving us the same results?

I think your choice may be a bit limited but Futaba and Sanwa do quality stick radios for surface models in 2.4, but both are a bit expensive. If you have problems getting hold of one you may be better off getting one from the UK as many people here still use sticks so shops do stock them.
