Default Battery install help - etruggy

This is the battery I have:

Note the bullet connectors.

The Tekin RX8 I own simply includes the wires for install to the esc:

HOWEVER, my Prodigy 610 charger gives me a set of bullet connector wires, although the gauge appears lighter.:

My question is that I'm unclear on how to wire up the battery. Do I have to take the RX8 wires and put the bullet connector on there, or can I use the ones from my charger. Sorry, but I'm a little lost as this is my first e-truggy.

Thanks!!

You should definitely not use the ones that came with the charger. That thin of a wire with as much current a truggy demands will actually be a huge risk. And to make it worse, those types of bullet connectors suck. They melt 10 minutes into a run. Buy either deans, traxxas, or EC5 connectors, and solver them to the wires to the rx8 and the battery.

Understood. I suppose Dean's are only available at RC stores - meaning I couldn't find 'em at Home Depot?

Pretty sure you won't find them at Home Depot haha. You can probably get them online if getting to a hobby shop is a pain.

I used those connectors for awhile and they worked great. The problem was getting Newley soldered wires into the red casings. I ended up switching to deans.
