So for the price I could almost get 3 of these for the price of one hobbywing so is it worth the gamble??? Not really planning on winning any ifmar championships just go to the local track ocasionally!! Looking for a budget friendly combo for under 150 or even less is better!! Would like a 6.5t thinking about the speed passion cause its pretty budget friendly just need an esc that's not gonna break the bank!!

Many locals use the red turnigy 120 and the gen2 version without issue

Minus 1.

Track condition +setup+tire choice= most traction

For me on my loose low traction track, the avid chassis was a 4 second improvement by itself. The carbon fiber was was to stiff.

disagree, the alloy chassis is stiffer and has less grip.

Droop issue

Hey everyone i went to the track with my new B44.2 the other day. my left rear cvd kept popping out . i talked to a guy at the track he said i had to much droop. he told me to add shims in shocks i did that and it still pops out.
they also told me there was not enough play in the diff inside the tranny housing. any help would be greatfully appreaciated.

Make sure you threaded the shock eyelets all the way onto the shaft.
Also measure each & check each are equal in length .

I have been running the Red Turnigy 120amp on two 17.5 2wd's for ~ 3 months with no issues. I got about 6 months out of a Brushless Hobbies clone of a HW 2.1 then it died. Put another one on and it has been fine for another 6 months or so.

I like the Turnigy better b/c the wire terminals are much easier to work with. Can't tell the difference in terms of performance. Certainly can't beat the price.

Had this same issue Sat.. Ended up being a small crack in the rear arm and would flex enough under load of landing and pop out. Had to takapart to find the crack.

Welp...

I screwd up!

anyone have a good method of holding the battery pack in that "don't fit"???

I ordered these without reading...
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=16677

31mm.

So, any ideas (I know that it won't be ROAR approved, but I won't be at any roar events.)

Just wondering how you guys would go about attaching them.

Thanks~

get some long set screws and use the thumb screws with a carbon battery brace. you would need to buy a couple things but you wont have to cut any material

^^^ Was just about to recommend same thing.
You'll need these:
http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/9915/
http://teamassociated.com/parts/details/1787/

Will most likely have to make longer setscrews. You can simply grind the head off of a longer 4-40 screw.
