Default mamba monster problem

hi guys
I am running a monster mamba 2200kv and esc. Today i went to the track to do some testing but there was no respnse from the motor or esc. The esc had the flashing lights but no sound. The throttle, neutreal and brake lights were working as it is meant to but when i pulled the trottle there was nothing from the motor. Everything was working fine last weekend when i raced with it so unsure what has happened to it.
any help would be appriciated.

I know it sounds stupid but is your esc plugged into the motor? If it is also check solder joints. The esc vibrates the rotor inside the motor to make beeps so there must be a connection problem between esc and motor..

yes the motor is plugged into the esc. the wires are factory soldered inside the motor and plug into esc. So could be inside either of motor or esc or could it be a broken wire?

Do you have any steering? Or nothing at all? Try rebinding your transmitter to receiver, and also try recalibrating the ESC. Also, make sure your receiver wires are plugged in correctly. If they are the wrong direction, it will not function.

yes i have steering. the wires are exactly how they were last weekend i didnt pull them off. I have rebound the transmiter and i have recalobrated the esc. the ESC dosnt beep as it usually does but the lights flash in the correct sequence that the manuel says. I have also tried changing wires around but that dosnt change anything. Im new to electric so all this is new to me.
the manuel says if the wires are around the wrong way it will just run in the reverse direction so i dont think that would be the issue but like i said im new to this so i dont have a clue.

Yeh i don't reckon it's got to do with the esc itself since steering works, my only guess is a motor problem or a bad solder joint or something.

check your radio trims, sounds like the esc isnt arming. if it doesnt see neutral at power up it wont arm. also check out the on and off switch for the esc. turn it on and off quickly a few times. they arent the best switches you can get.

I have pulled motor apart and the wires in the motor are good. I also pulled esc apart and i cant see any issues with plugs and where they go into esc but i have been told it wont take much to ruin a connection so there could be something that im overlooking that is not right. We have a race day tomorrow and we have a racer that runs the same combo so i will just plug my motor up to his esc and see if there it works or not.

If his steering worked, the battery is obviously not dead. See if you can find a different ESC, motor and radio to borrow and switch each part for the other one by one so you can weed out exactly where the problem is, because that type of issue can come from any of those 3

If you battery is sitting below the lvc you will still have steering dude just no power to the motor.

what should all the radio trims be sitting at. Just a question if after i turn the power on and i have power to the servo and the lights on esc flash could it still be a switch problem?

I know it was mentioned but the castle calibration ritual may be needed. The ESC will not arm (beeps) if it thinks that is needed. Also would not hurt to castle link it and do any software updates and reset defaults. Also like mentioned before set all throttle trim to zero on the transmitter.
