Savox 1257 or 1258 would work. If you wanted something cheaper maybe like a 965 hitec or something?

I have a 1258tg and it creates problems.
Most esc's have a 3 amp bec to power the rx & servo.
That or the 1257 pull 4a @ 4.8v and 5a @ 6v. Both of which are higher than most all esc's provide.

EDIT: the solar servo will draw the same amperage as the savox, 5a.
Unless you are running a external bec, don't get a servo that can pull more than 3a.
With a glitch buster you can probably get away with a 3.5a stall draw.

I have not tried this servo myself but have seen good reviews. It has more than enough power for a 2wd and is pretty fast. And... $17.50
I am actually ordering one for a back up so I don't have a $100 servo sitting in my race box for when stuff happens.

And if you have the setup to run 7.4v, it'll take it and give you 214 ounce/inch

The servo you posted in my experience is only good if used as a backup, I bought three and now have three broken ones.

I have had good luck with bluebird servo's from hobbyking.

In regard to servo amp draw, if you set your endpoints correctly it shouldn't ever draw the Max rated amperage.

Thanx for the heads up. Will probably get one for backup as you said... for that cheap, why not.
What was the issue with yours? Stripped gears? Motor burned out?

True about havin your EPA correct, but on occasion I have been known to hit the pipes just right or wreck on one of the fronts just right and that is maxing it out.

All of the above, plus the inside of the case wears out very fast where the pins go.

Ha ha! Well, it will hang out in my box for the next time I have a failure at the track and used for the remainder of the day. Removed and replaced and then back in the box for backup duty.
Hopefully it will last a couple partial days
