We found there was considerable flex on higher bite surfaces. This is why Thomas and Tanner wanted to create the brace.

I would like to see an official chassis for mounting the shorty sideways. I am too lazy/scared to grind mine down. lol

What degree aluminum rear hubs would work best on a carpet offroad track?

if you noticed at worlds the rear suspension pivot mounts where a different width this is because sideways battery needs different geometry to work its best. myself and many other kyosho entusiasts have found that the car is most happy with inline. it keeps the car agile and if you ask me it doesnt jump like a dead fish. thats my opinion anyway. just because it works on one manufacturers car doesnt mean its for every car. i know that tebo runs his car with the sideways pack but im sure he has made other changes to the rear and maybe even the front of the car to change his roll centers and such..anyway thats my opinion and thats how i like my buggy. not hacked up
So if I do the 3 gear mod u have to run the motor in reverse to get it to work properly and is it really gonna make a huge diff in mod buggy thanks in advance

No. When you run the 3 gear transmission, the motor is flipped and works in the regular rotation. The 3 gear transmission keeps the car flatter through the turns and is more responsive when jumping. It's a tuning aid, not a necessity.
There is a good conversion kit out as well. Remember you will also need a new gear cover as the kit one is the wrong orientation. A few people make them.

Got the email that my 3 gear kit and cover shipped today, looking forward to trying it. From what I have found with the B5 series is that the 4 gear is preferred for mod as the motor rotation helps with moving the rear end down for more traction. With that said I probably wont even try it in my mod car and wait to put it in the 17.5 car im building up

As far as the rear hangars go, chances are they were a 1-off setup piece because of the unusual surface on which they were racing. Also, taking into consideration the fact Tebo wasn't even running a commercially available car, it's hard to make the claim that the suspension pivots were for the sideways battery vs the fact they were racing on a living room rug lol

Have any of you done much testing with the sideways square pack? I drove a B5M Friday and I loved the way it drove. I was 1 second faster than with my RB6. It just seemed I could push the B5M harder. It felt more planted. That's why I'm wondering about the sideways square pack. More weight down low.
I'm currently running the Zack Rogers setup and it's always edgy to me. Almost unpredictable at times. It could be my driving style just curious if any of you have dealt with this before.

I need to pick up an extra body to have painted; is there a reason to choose something over the stock body performance wise?
Anyone run the RT6? Hows the truck compared to losi or ae ?
