Pretty meh update. Was hoping for a 3 gear mid motor gearbox like the competition for the carpet championship this year.

A little birdie at oc/rc said a new gearbox and cover are in the way soon.

Seems like Kyosho isn't convinced of the sideways mounting option.

In talking to some of the team drivers at OCRC, neither are they!

I wonder if there will be any changes to the RT6?

I doubt it. We already got an updated front tire with more mounting options. Doesn't really need anything. I'm going to try Jason Diaz stock mid motor setup at OC/RC tomorrow with an inline shortie back against the motor with speed control on the ESC shelf. How 2009.......

I didn't see any team drivers running sideways battery Wednesday night, nor Friday night. Cody King wasn't running it.

Blown out track rx and esc against servo sideways shorty was really good more grip than using a square .Wish I would of tried it sooner .

Last night was my first time out with the RB6. Bought it used but in excellent shape, mounted the electronics, and threw it on the track. Was pleasantly surprised to be tuning more steering into it right off the bat. Very happy.

I'm guessing nobody runs the speed control above the battery with a mid motor setup because I have the smallest SC and it barely fit under the body. Can anyone recommend a body with more clearance back there? Was hoping to fit a Reedy black box.
Yes it's a homemade shelf and battery strap. I broke the strap that came with it.

The diff is just a bit crunchy but how can I tell what pucks system this is? That shafts are not aluminum so it's the shiny system? This should have a MIP super diff no?
