Hey Mike, would you guys sell the actual stand offs for the battery straps? I want some of those right now, but not really the CF strap as it may stiffen up the car a little too much for my liking.

37.5wt front, 32.5wt rear is a good starting point with the stock pistons.

Was wondering if there's any advantage to using an 88 tooth spur gear with a 43 tooth pinion gear instead of a 76 tooth spur gear with a 37 tooth pinion gear. (They both end up being about the same gear ratio.)

Good luck fitting those in. The biggest I can fit with the stock 76 spur is a 30 or something.

I can get a 76 / 42 tooth on mine just done some custom work on it is all .

yeah, but why would you cut your car up instead of buy a properly sized spur gear for $5 to get your gearing right? you can buy 75s, 72s, and 69s.

i prefer the kyosho gears they work better with the slipper unit . all i do is mod the motor plate back further and down

I just wondering because I saw a setup sheet for a RB6 that had 88 spur and 43 pinion on it. (Maybe it was a mistake and meant to be a 88 spur and 33 pinion?)

Bigger spur and bigger pinion will move the motor further back, increasing rear weight bias and improving traction........in theory.

Basically taking one of the heaviest parts of the car (the motor) and hanging it further behind the rear axle.
