Very nice.
What does the back of the battery sit against? The motor?

Saw this on the site -
The new model features a selection of rear wing, rear suspension arms & shock springs to suit the midship motor mount setup. These changes produce improved durability and broader setting options for stability on high grip surfaces including artificial grass, carpet and hard-packed dirt. The new RB6 is fully loaded and designed for racers ready to challenge serious competition or upgrade for the next big racing event.

One reason the price could be lower on the new kit compared to the prior kit is the U.S. Dollar is a little bit stronger to the Yen when the new kit was released compared to the old kit.

RE: Lower Price
The new car has a few differences between it and the old one. We talked about it a few pages back.

The 2015 kit has new, updated parts.
It has the updated chassis, which has a few more mounting holes than the original stock one.
It has the updated front brace that is heavier duty
It has the new 3 hole arms in the rear
It has better rear springs, golds, versus reds
It has the updated spring cups that came out on the truck (taller on the bottom to secure the spring)
Updated manual that gives you part numbers during the build
Updated UM603B washer set (not a big deal)
Step 3.0 wing vs 2.0

Here's a stock setup based off my current mod setup. It was really fast but stable for me. I dont have anything crazy on my car like pucks or cut gears, it's basically the aluminum parts from Kyosho, a Schelle top shaft and lockout, and a kyosho gear diff. The mid motor is pretty essential to stock racing as well and I would recommend making one as its pretty easy to do.
Kevin I apologize if this has been covered but my son and I have been on a bit of a vacay from racing and it seems you have went back to inline battery? What happened with the R&D of sideways? I never did sideways but was just wondering if everyone is going back to inline.

I have 2 cars now, a stock and a mod. For the stock car I built, I wanted to build it as kit as possible so I made it inline with only a few hopups and changes.
For mod I am still running sideways.
