Yep. I run the delrin ARC gears with the exotek eliminator now. Pretty sweet setup. For gearing help just, take the 48p spur or pinion and multiply by 1.3333 to get the equivalent 64p.

Almost wish someone would bring the old Kinwald 56p gears back. Loved those things back in the day. Almost as strong as a 48p, but the close gear ratios of 64p.

And also can get the motor closer/farther to axle as required for a bit of weight bias. Also helps the spurs are made in increments of around 2 for the touring car guys.
Nice thank you i have a full hudy setup from on road was hoping you would give me that answer thank you! so a 101 spur will fit fine? and a 30 31 pinion?
You should hit up the JC thread and ask about it.

While down at the cactus this year I asked about a 69 spur for the Kyosho, seeing as of that time no one made one for the Kyosho directly. Jason said they were going to expand the Kyosho line from JC, didn't say what or when.
I'll have to try and hit them up again about the 56p spurs/pinions and a few other things I can think of, that if brought back out, I'd bet they sell pretty well.

On this car, I have the 84, 86 and 88 TC spurs machined delrin ones from ARC/Precision. I run around 5.5 FDR on the car, so pinions vary from 41T to around 45T. 101 would be too large frankly. Also I try to get a thinner pinion to lessen chances of stripping, the precision pinions are thinner (just a tick wider than the spur actually) than the robinsons (which are the width of the schelle nova 64p spur).
is there a way to run a slipper with the 64p stuff?

Yes, if you use the Schelle Racing gear you would use the Schelle Nova Slipper System. They currently have an 88t available and a 96t will be out very soon.
You will need a top shaft Schelle Racing should have one out very soon, in the mean time you can get one from AVID: http://www.avidrc.com/product/5/acce...cessories.html
Slipper: http://www.schelleracing.com/schelle-nova-SCH1301

and for those wanting a smaller 48p gear Kyosho now makes a 69t

I use the equivalent balls from Associated. If they are out then I use Associated. My lhs doesn't stock Kyosho parts so I make due with what I have access to if I don't plan ahead.
