Hey guys, been really working on my car in MM and weight distribution. I finally found something that is pretty easy to drive, but can turn on a dime if needed as well.
Our track is smooth right now, but can get bumpy, dusty and loose out of the groove.
Here's what I have done to the car to get the battery back as much as possible.
The only thing you need to do is modify the battery braces and shoe goo the RT6 part in place (it fits perfect) unless you want to drill 2 holes for it.
Also here is my current setup.

I did the following so I could use a shorty both ways without needing to change anything in the car. The side pods are cut with a couple of foam spacers glued on either side, the motor cover is raised a few mm and I drilled new holes for the battery holder. With foam tape on only one side of the battery strap, changing battery positions is as simple as flipping the strap over and moving the battery.
Please excuse the wiring, I quickly ripped the electrics out of another car to test this out.

Hello
I'm just building the RB6 and have an issue with the small place for the servo (normal size) and the steering arm touch the the front "upper plate"
I know from earlier read that there is a trick to do there something but cannot find in the long thread. Could you please explain me what should I do there?
Thanks

I use a longer ball stud and a bolt on the other side of the hub. Easy!
You can also use a pinion screw (sorry, I don't remember the exact name) to close the unused holes so the hub is stronger.
