From Kyosho America's website the wheelbase is measured at 285mm. Of course you can change the wheelbase on both cars so consider that factor.

They also state the following: Long Wheelbase The chassis is now 13mm longer than the original RB5, giving you amazing stability.

Hey guys maybe somebody can help me. I have a RB6 that I bought used set up in the rear motor configuration and I want to try a mid motor set up. Is there a parts list with part numbers somewhere or could someone let me know what I need to get to do the conversion? I don't have a manual if its listed in there.

For MM all you need is:

Rear Tower
MM transmission case
Extra idler gear (2 bearings, and the aluminum rod)
Motor guard
Rear bumper mount
Rear bulkhead
Rear wing mounts

The rest you already have in RM config.

Now that's fast! Thanks alot..

I guess my next question would be is there a good setup out there to use as a starting point? Nothing crazy just a good neutral setup.

The car drives totally different, therefore needing a different setup.

Check out petitrc.com for all of your set up sheets. It is hard to give an answer without any idea of what track you run on, conditions, etc.

No, I actually know a few things . With my experiences with MM, The setup with RM was not correct. I had to make several changes, sorry if my experience differed from yours

Swapping my rb6 over to mod for the first time and I seem to have lost the plastic washers that hold the spring centered, will these work with the stock slipper plates? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...per-Spring-Set

I ran my rb6 for the first time today broke my a-arm mounts on my first batt but on the second things went much better so far I'm liking the car but the only change I have made other than longer front camber links is I'm running losi #54 pistons all around with 30/27.5 and my car lands great and feels plush. going to work more on the setup on my next outing but so far the car is great can't wait to really tune her up.
