If it "loses traction big time", you have a setup "issue"... like.. your rear tires are on backwards (you rotated them on accident), or you have a bind of some kind.

Do you know where I could purchase the golds for the rears? Sold out at both of my local hobbyshops. I will post a setup sheet soon. I purchased the flat rear arms because I heard they help traction big time, but i do not know which outer pins I need??

The early versions were thinner underneath the gearbox, leaving a small space there. Current versions are slightly thicker.

It's not worth worrying about. I've been running my release-day-kit since release with the dent (day 1 too) and it hasn't worn through or been worth bothering with. I'm sure others are in the same boat.

If you really want to worry about it, go back a few hundred pages and read up on how to chop the T plate down to 'fill in' the space.

LA229 is the outer pin for 521 and 521-1 arms.

Hey guys I am still having issues with my transmission/diff. I recently rebuilt the diff and transmission with new balls, gears and rings with the proper lube. My issue is that I am getting this grinding sound at low speeds. At higher speeds the noise goes away. I attached a video.
