Had a fun night racing last night at trcr. Running Brandon's setup felt really good. I was running the gold rear springs and decided to go up to reds and the car felt even better, less dumping in the corners and faster steering and cornering after the change. I am running stock pistons 35/30 oils. This car Is on rails as I have had no traction issues with the change at all. the track itself had great traction last night. So stable, best car I have ever owned! Just gets better.

So I just realized the manual states to use the A0 caster insert in the right side and the B0 in the left side. I have mine the exact opposite, but still in the the proper wide track width configuration. What is the difference while using the 0's in the opposite configuration? Basically does it matter if I have the A on the B side and vice versa?

With the 0, nothing. With any others, you'd be decreasing caster, rather than increasing.

Nothing except change the width. You have to do the same thing on the other caster inserts to change the width also.

So if I'm running a2 on the left and b2 on the right in the narrow configuration i would be increasing caster and if I'm running a2 on the right and b2 on the left in the wide configuration I'm also increasing caster?

Finally got a few hours of practice with the car yesterday, and its really good I still feel like I need to adjust the shock package, but I'm not 100% which direction to go. I made 4x1.2 pistons, but could only find one pair in stock, I plan to try them up front.

that sounds right to me, but I admit I tend to need to have a visual on these things, and don't have the car in front of me. Search a couple pages back for a post I typed out about how you tell if the insert is increasing, or decreasing caster, regardless of where you put your insert.

Thanks Brandon. I don't either, but your explanation works!
