allot of them are using losi 4 hole pistons or taking blank kyosho pistons and drilling them out

pick up a set of the avid 4x1.3mm ones they are excellent and super smooth in the shocks

I was thinkign of trying those.
Has anyone tried the other ones - 1.6/1.1 (or whatever it was)?
Or those MIP valve shocks?

I used to do that with durango shocks. Don't feel like doing the same to my kyoshos . I also don't trust my otherwise trusty makita to drill perfect straight holes so I outsource it and buy gheas. If avid was available at the time I would support them since they are local and my LHS also started carrying stuff from them!

BTW a great job by Brandon and the other contributors in making the first post!

I copied brandons set up with the ghea pistons and that's a great upgrade.. But pretty spendy for 4 pistons.. Oh well we love our habbit!

I decided to purchase the kit as soon as it becomes available again along with the aluminum rear hangers. I was looking at some of the parts from exotek. Are they worth the cost or just bling?

I bought a RB6 today and I am so stoked! Just started building it and it sure is nice! My first kyosho car. Going to run stock with it

Worth it. Front carbon tower is bling depending on who you ask. I have almost all the exotek parts on my 6 and wouldn't go back to stock, no reason to.

Hi, any reason to upgrade to alum diff nut? Does it prevent the diff loosening? Thx

Probably lighter which is less rotating mass.. I'd use the stock nut and run an aluminum pinion gear for a bigger difference, but still probably not noticeable

The stock plastic diff nut holder is difficult to remove without destroying it (the little wings on it break off), upgrading to the alum diff nut will prevent that.

IS the Exotek Front Bulk Head more prone to break other parts? Also the same question regarding the rear camber plate?

i'm worried about shearing off a stud and having to drill it out, that's why mine wasn't installed. that and the stock one isn't an issue when it comes to durability. its just bling.

i really wish Exotek would roll out the hangers and hubs. that will be a big seller since the Factory parts aren't cheap.
