Default Tamiya Gravel Hound DF02 Df-02

My son and I built this kit and we noticed that the wheels and tires are worthless and would like to upgrade to something better. Also if there is any other upgrade that we could do?

The DF-02 is old tech. I bought a Rising Storm for my daughter 6-7 years ago. It's going to get harder to find parts for. I had to buy a chassis just a month ago from Japan.
For wheels, I used HPI Super Stars. You can put 2.2 tires on those.

Thanks for the info. Are you still using the stock body or have you found another one that fits?

Still stock. I'm sure other 4wd bodies could fit, but I haven't tried. Now it just sits on the shelf.
