If anything it makes more sense to run just a cage and no body.. The bodies get beat up fast..

Does the SC8.2e have different arms and shafts and cups than the older version? Does it have the lightened diffs and weirdo cups(different sizes) front/back?

All my spare parts are mostly for my nitro SC8 and the older RC8B which I sold..

I think, in debating which SC8e to get, it would be important for me to know. I guess if the older SC8e has better electronics anyway, AND my parts would fit it and NOT the SC8.2e, then it would be worth it to spend a bit more as opposed to getting the newer SC8.2e... Thanks.

Bump...

(Sorry to bump - it's annoying.. But might have to make a decision soon..)

Are my old RC8/RC8B parts going to work as spares for the SC8.2e? Arms, diffs, cups, CVD's, etc.....

It's interesting, some of the parts are interchangeable, front and rear arms are different, diff outdrives appear to be the same, but the center outdrives are different, diff housing is the same as well as the front and rear diff cases. It looks like whatever works works, but there may be enough similar or the same to make the addition somewhat practical. Not sure if this helps. Good luck on your decision.

I don't know why you expected some sort of in depth heartfelt response from people when you are posting that in a thread about a short course truck.

Maybe it post it somewhere more appropriate rather than start a bunch of unnecessary drama?
