Yes. Already running one of those while using the cc3800. Thinking about trying another motor but didn't want to if I was to have problems.

I didn't see any mention yet of the two HPI Vektor motors (4000 and 4800kv) so I thought I'd add that. I realize they are just Castle 1410 and 1406 motors with a cheaper magnet on the rotor (but a higher price tag) but they do offer a slightly higher kv than the Castle motors for people looking for a little bit extra.
It's the same thing with the Duratrax Element 3900kv motor, too.
I think I've read that the Losi 2800kv 4 pole 550 is based off of a Castle 1415 motor, and of course the Traxxas funny car motor is a Castle 1415 with a blue paint job.

Also, I didn't see any of the Leopard motors mentioned either. Leopard has a wide kv selection of sensorless 540 motors, but only about four or five fall in the range of SCT. Leopard also has a big variety of 550 sizes and kv ranges, plus some high power 380 four poles that might suit someones wishes for a light weight motor. Its probably easier to just link to their website than list them myself.

Same goes for Keda motors as well; http://www.kedamodel.com/product/4p36.html
There are probably other manufacturers out there, but that's all that I can think of right now.

I just ordered a SKYRC Toro 4pole 550 4000KVhttp://www.skyrc.com/index.php?route...product_id=127
motor and a SKYRC Toro 540 4pole 3200KV http://www.skyrc.com/index.php?route...product_id=116
motor I will write my opinion on them soon as I get them. I'm going to run them in my 4wd SCT.

1410 540 can or 1415 550 can? I would think that the 550 can would be too big for a 2wd, but read / ask in the slash forum. That low of a kv you will need 3 to 4 cell.
