The "Predtor X10" is the new one, which will be released in March/April 2005

It's the evolution of the car used by Brian Kinwald to win The Winternationals against Mark Pavidis and all the usual superstars. William Mitcham TQ'd a round of the Worlds at a US track (The Raunch) and Derek Furutani won the US Nationals.

It definitely does work on US Tracks, and is devastatingly quick. Older versions use to have strength problems, which showed on some tracks in the US with big jumps. Later versions and particularly with the new stronger X10, that is no longer the case.

The Predator was designed from scratch as a pure off-road car. Its design is very low to create a low Centre of Gravity and to reduce aerodynamic drag. Its looks are also deceiving, because it has plenty of suspension travel and whatever ground clearance you need.

There is more about the Predator X10 at the official website. www.ttechracing.com

Best regards

Hi Rich, dont mean to flame anything here but with regards the Ttech design, some peeps here swear the actual design originated from an SG Cayote just the Ttech's motor mounted 90'degrees, id like to know your opinion on this to set the record straight, understood if you would decline in answering...just my 2cents worth

the predator is totally unique..

the general transmission layout isnt unique, and was done before, but i never said it was done first by TAG (coyote), maybe it was done before the coyote also..

im sure it originated in richards head, its the same as a coyote for instance because its THE way to do shaft drive.... Rich said it was the first, i just pointed out it wasnt, so i guess that proves it originate in his head and he knew nothing about the Cotoye or any other similar car if it exists (yankee electra ??)

Any more updates when the car will be released? Any one know what significant changes are planned for the new car, or is it a total new design?
